Additionally, you’ll have a plan detailing how to effectively attract and engage your target customers, supported by a robust financial forecast and a prioritised list of initiatives designed to achieve your objectives.

Duration    8 weeks
2-hour/week 12-2pm
In-person at Smart Precinct NQ or online via zoom, with recordings for catch-up.We would recommend you invest 1-3 hours per week applying the learnings in your business
Topics     Weeks 1 and 2 – Business Essentials:

  • Cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Set up for success and define goals for sustainable growth.

Weeks 3 and 4 – Finance Fundamentals:

  • Set financial goals and build a comprehensive financial forecast.

Weeks 5 and 6 – Marketing and Sales:

  • Set clear marketing objectives and define your brand identity.
  • Create a plan for engaging your target customers.

Week 7 – Systems and Processes:

  • Implement key business systems and explore automation opportunities.

Week 8 – The Future:

  • Future-proof your business and develop a prioritised list of growth initiatives.

The cost is subsidised, thanks to the support of the Townsville City and Burdekin Shire Councils.
Only businesses in these regions are eligible for the subsidised prices.

Dates: Wednesday 20 March to Wednesday 8 May 2024
(excluding Wednesday 3 April for Easter Break).
Graduation Event will be on Wednesday 22 May.
