Overview:

SPNQ operates in full compliance of Government mandated COVID Safe protocols published as COVID Safe Checklist for Restricted Businesses – Impacted Areas and the Rest of Queensland.  The checklist is available via the following link: https://www.covid19.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0028/176158/covid-safe-checklist-restricted-businesses-impacted-areas.pdf?nocache-v1

General restrictions:

  • No more than 1 person per 2m2 indoors, or up to 100% seated venue capacity provided guests are in ticketed and allocated seating

  • Check In Qld App is used to collect contract tracing information

  • The premises is thoroughly cleaned regularly

  • The premises has hand washing facilities and hand sanitiser stations

  • Face masks are not required however they are encouraged if staff and guests are unable to maintain physical distancing.

Restrictions if the Townsville City Council Local Government Area is declared an Impact Area or High-risk Impacted Area will likely include:

  • No more than 1 person per 2m2 indoors, or up to 100% seated venue capacity provided guests are in ticketed and allocated seating

  • Check In Qld App is used to collect contract tracing information

  • The premises is thoroughly cleaned regularly

  • The premises has hand washing facilities and hand sanitiser stations

  • Staff are required to wear a face mask when interacting with visitors and guests or when unable to remain 1.5 metres from other staff

  • Face masks are not required to be worn by visitors and guests when entering and exiting the business or if they are unable to physically distance when moving around the premises.  Masks may be removed when the visitor or guest is seated and when able to maintain physical distancing when moving around the premises.
